ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT &

INVENTORY MANAGER

SIOUX CENTER, IA

New Tec, Inc. is looking to add an Administrative Assistant & Inventory Manager position for our Sioux Center, IA location. This team member must be reliable, detail-orientated, and possess superior organization and communication skills. The ability to multitask is essential as this position includes office support, answering phone calls, data entry, filing, and management of equipment inventory. A professional attitude and a high level of customer service experience is essential for this individual to be successful.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming customer inquiries in person and over the phone
  • Manage equipment inventory internally and on our website
  • Administrative duties & office support

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

Monday- Friday | 40-45 hours per week

SERVICE TECHNICIAN INTERNSHIP

SIOUX CENTER, IA

New Tec, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician Intern to join our growing team in Sioux Center, Iowa. This paid internship will involve learning to diagnose, repair and complete service work on material handling equipment that includes forklifts, mini excavators, telehandlers and aerial lifts. 

Key Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Diesel Technology or related field
  • Strong desire to learn on-the-job with a large variety of equipment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications:

  • Technical Knowledge:  Possess a strong understanding of the equipment or systems being serviced, including their mechanics, electronics, and operation.
  • Problem-solving: Have excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Electrical Skills: Proficiency in electrical systems, including wiring, circuitry, and troubleshooting.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for entering service reports, accessing technical manuals, and using diagnostic software.

SERVICE TECHNICIAN & ROAD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Full-Time position

SIOUX CENTER, IA/ SPENCER, IA / SIOUX FALLS, SD

Seeking Service Technician (Sioux Center, IA) and Road Technician (Sioux Falls, SD) will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing equipment. The Spencer store location is seeking an individual who will perform both road service technician and in-house service technician duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on equipment, machinery, or systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
  • Diagnosis: Troubleshoot and identify issues or malfunctions using diagnostic tools and equipment to determine the root cause of problems.
  • Repairs: Execute repairs and replacement of faulty components, such as electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic parts.
  • Testing and Calibration: Test and calibrate equipment after repairs or maintenance to ensure accuracy and optimal performance.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service and maintenance activities, including work orders, service reports, and parts used.
  • Customer Interactions: (road technicians) Interact with customers or clients to understand their concerns, explain the scope of work, and provide updates on repair progress.
