So why the move? According to Scott Hulstein, President of New Tec & Rent-All, “the move to Sioux Center supports the direction and relationship that New Tec and Rent-All share with each other. Having neighboring facilities only made sense for both companies moving forward.  New Tec is excited and looks forward to gaining one centralized location for our customers to view the equipment, obtain service work on their equipment, replacement parts and general housing of our inventory.” “When we explored our options, the Sioux Center community and location aligned well with our vision and the evolvement of New Tec for the next 20 years.”

New Tec’s future home will be located between Rent-All, sister company of New Tec, and Main Street Storage on Highway 75 just north of Sioux Center. “This location has a high visibility and direct accessibility for our customers,” added Hulstein. The current facilities in Hull combined, survey at approximately 3 acres of property, while the new facility surveys right around 7 acres of real estate. The new headquarters will be 47,000 sq. ft. for the main facility plus 10,000 sq. ft. of storage which will be more than double our service area in Hull. “A focal point of ours during this process was to enhance the environment for our employees. We wanted to elevate and continue to cultivate a positive workspace. A workspace that provides opportunities for interpersonal growth, creative work, and a shared purpose that gets passed down to the customers with quality service & equipment.” Scott Hulstein

“Larger space equals new opportunities for the skill sets of our technicians,” stated Hulstein. “The shop space will have ceilings that scale approximately 20 feet high, 40,000 square feet which will allow New Tec to expand their servicing capabilities with multiple Overhead Cranes with the focus on improving safety and efficiency to better serve our customer base. “With this transition, we have also dedicated a separate department for hydraulic repair and services.”
